Mmmm… what do you know about lasagna? Everyone knows lasagna, and it is very subjective dish to talk about. It all depends on one’s preference; the filling, the white sauce or even the whole lasagna can be the determinant. For me, it is about the whole package! It’s not my national food, so I cannot say what kind of lasagna is the best.
The original recipe is prepared using spinach pasta, bolognese meat sauce and Italian béchamel sauce. This particular recipe is known as Lasagne Verdi al Forno. There are various kind of lasagnas out there, all prepared according to one’s preference. Few years back when I was looking for a new taste, totally different from what I use to eat either locally or western food. I found a new recipe; Lemon Chicken! This is one of my recipe collection from Mediterranean cuisine. The dish is originally from France, however the versions of it can be found in Spain or Italy or even in Malaysia now.

I am always looking for simple yet delicious food, cucumber & beef is one of them. As portrayed in the name it’s simply a combination of cucumber and beef. I don’t really know what it is called. One of the most popular dishes in Kyrgyzstan. It’s a combination of rice, lamb and carrot. It’s usually prepared as an honor for the guests in Southern part of Kyrgyzstan.
Traditionally, the dish is considered delicious if prepared with lots of oil. The oil should drip from your arm while eating. But of course I am using just enough cooking oil for health purposes. Read the rest of this entry »
